Parking Lot
We have asked many times, yet we continue to have families that park in the parking lot to pick up their children at the end of the day. Having cars enter and exit the parking lot at dismissal time presents a safety risk. Please act as a caring and kind member of our school community by parking on the road and NOT using the school parking lot when picking up your children. Thank you.
School Council Meeting
Our next meeting is this Monday, April 13 at 7pm in the Learning Commons. Please see the agenda for this meeting
Moving or Not Returning to BHES Next Year?
If your children are not returning to BHES next year, please email the school to let us know.
Pause to Play Challenge
In partnership with York Region Public Health, we will be participating in the Pause to Play challenge week of April 13-17. The Pause to Play Challenge is a great way to promote more physical activity and less screen time. Children and youth are encouraged to power down all electronic devices. Reducing recreational screen time (outside of school or homework) is important to decrease sedentary behaviour, increase physical activity and improve concentration and the ability to learn. Please see tips to reduce screen time.
