I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the warm welcome to Bayview Hill Elementary School.
The school administration, staff and families at Bayview Hill have worked hard over the years to develop a clear focus and shared values between school and community.
I am pleased to be supporting Bayview Hill Elementary School and look forward to working with you.

Our Grade 8s have returned from their trip to Quebec. We had a wonderful time together learning about the history of Quebec, practicing French and participating in many fun activities.

Yearbooks are On Sale Now - Last Day to Order!
The glitch on the yearbook website has been fixed and you may order the 2025/26 yearbook. The deadline to order is TODAY (Friday, May 22nd at 11:59 pm).

You will see two options:
The $35 2025-2026 Perfect Bind Elementary Yearbook is the main yearbook for all students. It will be delivered to BHES on June 22nd. If your child is leaving before that, they can pick their yearbook up in the fall, or we can send it home with a friend or family member.
The $15 Y262 Grad Book is a Grade 8 add-on with content exclusive to the BHES Class of 2026. This yearbook won't be available until the fall, and students will be contacted with pick-up options once it arrives.

New Online Hub Supports Students’ Transitions
Students experience transitions throughout their school day and their school years. Supporting these transitions is a shared effort. YRDSB has launched a new Transition Hub with resources to support all students and their families during times of change. It includes tips for all families with specific information and strategies to support students with special education needs.
You will find helpful information, clear steps and strategies to support transitions. You can explore tips and resources by grade level or by different categories such as advocacy, daily transitions and transitioning to a new school. The content can also be translated using the built-in web translation tool. We invite you to explore the new Transitions Hub for tips to support your child.
