We Need Your Help…

It was great to see so many families join our “walk to school day” this past week.  Although it has been a chilly winter, we still encourage families to use active ways to get to and from school.  Not only is this a healthy option, it also helps with the congestion on the roads near our school.

We also wanted to take this opportunity to remind all families about being safe and considerate when dropping off and picking up your children.

Please remember:

  • Our parking lot is NOT to be used for dropping off or picking your child before or after school.
  • Our bus loop is also our emergency lane.  Cars should NOT stop or park here at any time.
  • Stopping your car when it blocks our parking lot entrance or exit makes it very difficult for buses to enter and exit.
  • Take extra care and caution when driving in school areas and be on the look out for children at all times.

And, most importantly, please be considerate.  We are working hard to build a school community for our students that is built on care, kindness and being aware of how actions impact others.  We ask you to do the same!
