A Message from Ms. Schreider and Ms. Petinarelis
Thank you to our School Council and all participants who joined and supported last night’s Multicultural Night. It was so wonderful to see our families come together to learn about and celebrate with each other. We are so proud to be part of such a diverse and caring school community.
We are excited to present our school production of The Little Mermaid! Show dates are Wednesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 14th. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 each. Due to limited seating in the gym, there is a maximum of 4 tickets per family in total. Please note that no refunds will be issued for purchases over the limit, and families will not be provided with more than 4 tickets.
It's hard to believe it is already May! Soon you will receive an email inviting you to provide input into your child’s class placement for the next school year. We welcome your ideas and will take them into consideration during our placement meetings. Please remember we do not take requests for specific teachers. Thank you for partnering with us.

Children’s Mental Health Week is This Week!
Each year, Ontarians mark the first full week of May as Children's Mental Health Week. As we move through the school year's remaining months, we pause to acknowledge the many realities that impact our day-to-day experiences and mental health. We acknowledge that many feel tired and busy, among other feelings. These realities, thoughts and feelings are valid and important. As such, this resource has been carefully created to complement existing routines and at-home wellness practices. We have collaborated with the York Region Public Health Healthy Schools team to create a resource that we hope will create opportunities for joy and wellness. Be sure to also check out our Student Mental Health and Addictions Newsletter for additional resources.
