Fire Safety Resources
The school year unfortunately began tragically in Richmond Hill, with a devastating residential fire that claimed two lives - including that of an 11-year-old child. As students returned to classrooms, one school community was left grappling with the heartbreaking absence of a young life lost far too soon.
While the specific circumstances of this fire are unique, it serves as a sobering reminder of how fast and deadly fire can be - and how deeply a fire-related loss can impact not only a family, but an entire school and community. Richmond Hill Fire & Emergency Services is here to support the safety and education of our community in many different capacities.
